Technology Device Warrants
Warrants are used in several areas of transportation engineering to determine when devices or strategies should be considered for deployment. The most widely used warrants are traffic signal warrants.
Athey Creek Consultants is supporting the ENTERPRISE Program in developing an initial set of technology device warrants, as a pilot study to assess the potential for widespread warrant use for transportation operations and maintenance devices.
In this current effort, Athey Creek is defining warrants for DMS, CCTV, HAR, and R/WIS devices.
