HAR WARRANT - 3:

CHANGING TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

Purpose: To notify drivers in advance of special changing traffic conditions and roadway configurations associated with road construction or maintenance.

To begin the process of determing if deployment is warranted at your location, please answer the following questions and click the submit button at the bottom of the page.

The preliminary warrants are entirely intended to serve agencies in the operations and maintenance device deployment decision making process. The warrants can also be used to validate existing device deployments.

1. Is the candidate location upstream of an area with traffic control changes (e.g. lane closure, crossover, contra flow) where travelers would benefit from a verbal explanation?	Yes No
2. Is the candidate location expected to encounter either long term construction or maintenance activities or changing traffic control situations for longer than 2 months?	Yes No
